Eastborough is the alias of Canadian singer/songwriter/guitarist Stefani Guzman. Stefani was brought up in a musical family, and performing came naturally to her. By the age of 12 she was banging out songs on the guitar, and not long after was performing as a solo musician-- eventually landing as the front-woman for Ottawa punk band, The Hussies.
Stefani brought two groups of musical friends together to form Eastborough in 2006. The band did most of their rehearsing at the farmhouse, and recorded their debut self-titled EP in the Tractor studio later that same year.
The disk was well received by local media, garnering praise from Chart Attack, The Ottawa Sun, Upfront magazine, iheartmusic.net, Live 88.5 FM, and CKCU 93.1 FM among others.
Stefani moved to Toronto in 2010 reforming the band in the process, and she continues to write and perform with a new line-up of musicians.
In September 2011 Stefani (Eastborough) released her debut full length cd entitled 'Your Place' to many rave reviews.
