2007 - hiatus goose feathers
Originally started as an idea for a collective of musicians in the tractor records circle, a new (old) band formed when Steve and Justin started playing together as a duo working on new original material with a quieter acoustic flavour.
Robyn returned to the area after a short stint living out east and resumed his bass duties, which lead to the creation of a trio and the working up of a bunch of new songs.
Soon trio lead to quartet when Ben came in to the fold on Fender Rhodes piano and then later brought in guitar for the new songs he was bringing to the group.
When Aedan was available to play lead guitar he would come out and the quartet again grew into a quintet shortly after his 'guest' appearance at Barn's first show.
After playing a handful of shows, Barn began recording songs that eventually became their self titled album- Barn
